Study 30 Minutes a Day and Get a 4.0 GPA: Q and A

by VTAMethodMan

So I got a question from a student in my tutoring program and thought I’d share it with everybody else.  This guy was asking whether my book “Study 30 Minutes a Day and Get a 4.0 GPA” was just a tagline or whether it was possible.  He in essence wanted to call bullshit on the whole deal as he still hadn’t gotten to half an hour a day.  (He actually said that he was still studying an hour a day, but he had only started the program a month ago so in my opinion that is a pretty awesome as the estimated average study time to hold a 4.0 GPA’s is 3 hours a day… BUT ANYWAY).

There are really three big reasons why my program works allostasis, thought mechanization and online tutor outsourcing.  Each of which I’ll be happy to explain for everybody here.

Allostasis

Allostasis is the process by which your mind and/or body is conditioned to receive augmented stimuli and adapt to said stimuli at an increased rate.  So I use the example of a guy working out, when you initially start, it’s very difficult as your body is trying to adapt to the new stimuli.  However, after a few weeks the exercises become easier.  Not only do they become easier but they are becoming easier at an increased rate.  This phenomenon is due to your body accepting that you are now going to be exercising more and responds by being stronger.  As a consequence, if you stop working out, it will take a few weeks before you revert back into a couch potato as your body needs to re-adapt to being a lazy blob.  This same concept can be applied to the mind and I have specific training methods in the book that force you into augmented mental acquity.

Thought Mechanization

Although thinking independently is a great thing, without a set plan of attack, you will lose every time.  Therefore, once your mind is conditioned to think and react faster, we then implement set structures of thought for most of the activities you’ll have to complete in university.  As a perfect example you can join the VTA Newsletter and you’ll get a free sample of thought mechanization for getting an A+ essay.  These are a kind of ‘mental tool’ that you can keep in your academic tool belt and whip out at any time to quickly and easily conquer most university test and assignments.

Online Tutoring Outsourcing

The final part of the puzzle that keeps everything together is how you outsource repetitive tasks to others, namely Phd Online Tutors.  They do research, answer questions and generally keep you on task so that you can concentrate on learning the content as quickly and easily as possible.  Our online tutors differ from regular tutors however.  Unlike regular tutors or in class teaching assistants, we hire graduate students who have also been teaching assistants, what I call virtual teaching assistants.  These online tutors (aka VTA’s) are interested in a single goal, making sure you get an A.  They aren’t interested as to whether you learned anything, they aren’t interested in staying accountable to university bell curving and they aren’t accountable to your professor.  Their single goal is to get you an A… period.

This is a kind of a fundamental shift in online tutoring as many online tutors are interested in making sure you learn.  However, this is a huge mistake for university students as universities aren’t really interested as to whether you’ve learned anything, they are more interested as to whether you can pass their testing regiment.  So our online tutors hope you’ve learned something along the way (it’s a nice bonus) but are primarily interested in being your support staff for academic success.

I hope this has answered any lingering questions you’ve had about our programs.  Please check out the main program – Study 30 minutes a Day and Get a 4.0 GPA
